How to share your database
The Lightning database
Lightning stores all of its fastener information in a single database file called database.db. We save this file in the folder:
C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\CAD Booster\Lightning.
You cannot edit this file manually, even though it looks like a text file. You can move it or copy it, though, for example to move the database into PDM.
Move the database or browse for an existing file
First, go to Tools > Lightning > Database management.
In the next window, you can choose a location for your database:
- Select a folder
- Read the folder path from a registry key
