How to configure sheet names

You are here:

The active Blueprint determines the name of every new sheet.

Three sheet types

To change the sheet name, open the Settings window, select a Blueprint and the Sheet Names tab. You can set the base name for three sheet types:

  1. Normal sheets
  2. Body sheets
  3. Flat pattern sheets

Five sources for sheet names

Body sheets and flat pattern sheets have five options for the source of the sheet name:

  1. Use the same base name as normal sheets. Enter the base in the text box at the top.
  2. Use a different base name
  3. Use the name of the body on the sheet. This only works well when each cut list folder only contains one body.
  4. Use the name of the cut list folder.
  5. Use the value of a custom property in the cut list folder

How the ‘base name’ and the numbers work

When you set the base name as DXF, Drew adds a number so the complete name will become DXF1.

If the base name is empty, the sheet name will just be a number.
